About the Challenge

The Step-Up Caribbean Challenge was created to support emerging businesses by providing access to transformative, strategic solutions. This initiative aligns with the themes of competitiveness, scalability, and impact, helping entrepreneurs lay a solid foundation for success.

This year, we’re offering 2 exciting awards:

A 3-Year Strategic Business Plan, including a detailed 1-year operational roadmap.
A 3-Year Export and Marketing Plan, designed to help businesses scale into regional markets.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Step-Up Caribbean Challenge, your business must:

Be registered in a CARICOM country.
Have been in operation for no more than three years.
Be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to growth and impact.

Submission Requirements

Interested MSMEs must submit the following:

A 60-second video explaining:
Your business’s purpose and vision.
Why your business is ready for this challenge.
How you plan to use the awarded plan to grow or scale.
A completed online application form at www.lepriconsulting.com.

Judging Criteria

Interested MSMEs must submit the following:

Business Vision and Purpose: 10%
Innovation and Competitiveness: 25%
Scalability Potential: 25%
Impact: 25%
Submission Quality: 15%

Timeline

Submissions Open: January 1, 2025, at 12:00 a.m.
Submissions Close: January 31, 2025, at 12:59:59 p.m.
Winner Announcement: February 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
